Job description

Job Summary:To assist the service personnel in satisfying the membership during their dining experience.Education and/or Experience:The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.Possesses basic knowledge of computers.Attending High School / High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent.Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:Greet and acknowledge members and guests by name, i.e. Mr. and Mrs. Smith.Knowledgeable about the menu, buffet, wine and spirits list.Ability to time the service of each courseLearns members' names and their special preferences.Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to: Assist in the set up and breakdown of the dining areas and side stations.Provide water and bread & butter service.Assist in clearing of member's table during service.Resetting of tables.Any other duties/requests that a supervisor has instructed.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend stretch and twist or reach.Continuous repetitive motions, standing, walking and lifting.Ability to lift 10 30 lbs frequently; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Ability to move dining room furniture to meet floor plan design changes for dining needs.Physical resolve to work in hot, humid and noisy environment.Ability to work outside in the typical climate conditions and temperatures of Florida.Work schedule includes week days, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed to meet dining operational needs. Work shifts will vary subject to lunch, dinner, and special events.
