As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Presence in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access control, report observations, and respond to security-related concerns while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site requirements for an aerospace and defense administrative location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notifications according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, service-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
