Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Leadership Team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and performing some HR duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. 
Responsibilities 
  • Enter financial data and transactions
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
  • Prepare trial balance 
  • Pull reports for senior management to review budgetary and other financial information 
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Complete required forms as needed for compliance
  • Perform some HR duties
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field 
  • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
