Minimum Qualifications
Hands-on experience in boat repair, maintenance, and marine systems (e.g., engines, fiberglass, electrical, hull repair).
3+ years of professional experience in the marine industry or a related trade.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma in Boat Building or Boat Manufacture and Service or closely related field of study from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Ability to create lesson plans, communicate clearly and instruct safe work habits.
Essential Duties
  • Ensure quality instruction for all courses taught in the areas of Boat Building and Boat Manufacture and Service
  • Maintain accurate record keeping for all courses.
  • Interact with students, the public, the community, and co-workers in a cooperative, courteous and professional manner.
  • Comply with the college's policies and procedures
