Job description
Because of the nature of detailed and accurate record-keeping for grant purposes and the importance of time-intensive, detail-oriented preparation of materials, this position demands painstaking attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Because this position is in constant contact with patrons, strong communication skills are essential.
- BFA or majoring in Art, Art History, or English. Experience with letterpress required; bookmaking or other handskills strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated eye for fine-tuned details, and strong record-keeping capabilities, time management, and organizational competencies required.
- Proficiency in Office software required; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign strongly preferred.
- Must be a current University of Utah student enrolled 6 undergraduate credit hours or 5 graduate credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
- Six months clerical or customer service experience required; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
- Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
