The 'BCBA-D' credential indicates that the individual holds a doctoral degree in behavior analysis or a related field and has met additional requirements beyond the standard BCBA certification. What are the typical challenges faced by part-time BCBAs when managing multiple client caseloads?

Part-time BCBAs often encounter the challenge of balancing several client caseloads while working limited hours. This can make it more difficult to schedule observations, parent meetings, and supervise RBTs or therapists within restricted availability. Prioritizing effective communication and time management is essential to ensure all clients receive consistent, high-quality behavioral intervention. Many part-time BCBAs find that collaborative teamwork and clear documentation help streamline processes and maintain continuity of care across cases.
