We are looking for a Barista/Bar Back to join us at our Midtown Location. Pay starts at $12.50 an hour. Tips range anywhere from $8-11 per hour, with an effective pay range of $18.25-$22.25 per hour. (Tips are not guaranteed). We have a passport for progression within our growing company.ย 


Weekend availability is required! Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Greeting each guest warmly and genuinelyย 

Looking for opportunities to serve and make our guest's day

Register Operation and Cash Handlingย 

Bussing, Cleaning, and refilling low bar stocks to keep an organized and clean cafe.

Keeping work areas clean and presentable to guests

Adhering to Old World Coffee Roasters Handbook and operational procedures

Completing all opening and closing responsibilities to OWCR expectationsย 

Memorizing and embodying OWCR Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles

Work independently as a barista

Prepare drinks for customers

Ensuring all products served are to OWCR standards and expectationsย 

Go through OWCR Training for Barista skills

Qualifications

Outgoing and engaging personality

Proactive at identifying and completing work needs

Ability to assess station needs and act accordingly

Great spoken and written communication

Must be able to lift 30lbs
