Position Summary:
This position reports to the Assistant BranchManager, Branch Manager, or Business and Branch Services Director. Thisposition is also responsible for maintaining and balancing a cash drawer inaddition to rotating the branch vault, which includes cash, coin, negotiableinstruments, etc.
Essential Functions:
โ€ข Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifiesamount, and examines checks for endorsements, legal amounts, dates, etc.
โ€ข Cashes checks and pays out money afterverification of signatures and customer balances.
โ€ข Process transactions such as withdrawals, IRAcontributions, HSA contributions, loan payments, night deposits, mail deposits,etc.
โ€ข Ensures and provides quality service to bothinternal and external customers.
โ€ข Assists customers in accessing safety depositboxes.
โ€ข Examines coupons and bills presented for paymentto verify issue, payment date and amount due.
โ€ข Performs trial balances throughout the day.
โ€ข Balances currency, coin and checks in cash drawerat end of shift.
โ€ข Greet individuals as they enter branch anddrive-up window.
โ€ข Process work through Branch Capture equipment.
โ€ข Assist customers with services such as orderingATM or debit cards, requesting stop payments, changing addresses, etc.
โ€ข Follow and comply with all bank regulations andsecurity procedures.
โ€ข Complete all training requirements, includingcompliance, in a timely manner.
โ€ข Process transactions within established policiesand procedures.
โ€ข Ability to lift coin bags of varying weight.
โ€ข All other duties as assigned.
