Flying S Title & Escrow is a subsidiary of Title Financial Corporation. We seek a Courier to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID. TFC is a family-owned company providing Title and Escrow Services since 1905. This is a part-time position, Monday-Friday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Additional hours as needed.

About the position:

The Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering a variety of materials, such as documents, supplies, cash-related items, and the U.S. Mail. The position establishes or receives daily schedule assignments which may require adjustments for rush orders, cancellations, or geographically more efficient routes. In the event that a delivery or pick-up cannot be made, this position must notify all parties involved or make arrangements to meet the schedule.

Job Duties Include:

  • Responsible for making timely pickups and deliveries of documents, supplies, cash-related items, the U.S. mail, and various other title or escrow materials between the Company’s offices and outside contacts, including real estate offices, financial institutions, public agencies, and attorneys.
  • Responsible for making bank deposits and performing other banking transactions.
  • Must be able to prioritize schedules to meet delivery and banking deadlines.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues or needed repairs to the manager.
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks such as order entry, scanning documents, filing, sorting and distributing mail, answering phones and maintaining logs of deliveries.
  • Assist the escrow and title departments by performing general support tasks to maintain departmental efficiency.
  • Communicates with company employees and customers by phone, in person or through correspondence.
  • Supports corporate core values, purpose, goals, and culture.
  • Reacts to change positively and productively, including as a result of the expansion of job responsibilities and expectations.
  • Adheres to all company policies and standards, including the expectation of prompt, predictable, and regular attendance.
  • Other job duties as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and have the ability to pass an MVR and background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds at times and perform physical activity such as walking, standing, and driving for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle for company errands or training.
