Family Based Services is for you!
Child and Family Focus has a part-time, Bachelor's level Case Manager position available in Montgomery County that give our teams autonomy and flexibility in a clinically rich environment, with the support of experienced leaders.

Child and Family Focus's Family Based Services assign a team of one Master level clinician and one Bachelor level case manager to work closely with clients in the home, school and community to address the child’s emotional struggles as well as the larger systemic issues contributing to troublesome behavior. The flexibility of meeting young people and families within the home and the community allows therapists the address the root of the struggles and create long-term positive change.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work in two-person clinical teams to deliver quality family therapy and resource coordination.
  • Use creative ways to engage young people and their family members to address complex family-systems issues
  • Maintain a caseload of 3 young people (ages 4-18) and their family members
  • Attend training in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy.
  • Participate in weekly supervision
  • Meet with clients and their families at least twice a week to provide individual, and family therapy with sibling and couples/parent treatment provided as needed.
  • Make referrals for appropriate supportive services.
  • Maintain client files including timely completion of case notes and treatment plans to ensure that the licensing and Child & Family Focus, Inc.’s standards are upheld at all times.
  • Provide paid emergency on-call duties as scheduled in rotation with other team members. 
  • Use and implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices - Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, & Empowerment.

Required Qualifications:

Must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology or anthropology plus at least 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program.
  • OR have 12 college level semester credit hours in humanities or social services plus at least 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program. Plus be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker.
  • OR be a licensed registered nurse (RN) plus have at least 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program. Plus be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker.

Work Schedule:

  • 15 hours per week, with flexible daytime availability and 3-4 evenings per week, as caseload requires

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Billable Rate: $24 per hour
  • PTO/Holiday Rate: $20 per hour
  • Non-Billable Rate: $15 per hour
