What is a part time AZ driver?

Part Time AZ Drivers are professional truck drivers who hold an AZ license, allowing them to operate tractor-trailers and other large commercial vehicles in Ontario. They work on a part-time basis, which means they typically have flexible schedules and may work fewer hours or shifts than full-time drivers. Their responsibilities often include transporting goods, performing vehicle inspections, and following safety regulations. This role is ideal for those seeking work-life balance or supplemental income while maintaining their trucking credentials.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time AZ driver?

To thrive as a Part Time AZ Driver, you need a valid AZ driver's license, a clean driving record, and knowledge of transportation regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and basic truck maintenance tools is typically required. Strong time management, attention to detail, and good communication skills help drivers navigate routes and interact with clients and dispatchers. These skills ensure the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of goods, which is essential for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What are some common challenges faced by part time AZ drivers and how can they be managed?

Part-time AZ Drivers often face challenges such as adapting to irregular schedules, managing fatigue, and staying updated on changing routes or assignments. Since shifts can vary, effective time management and communication with dispatch are key to ensuring a smooth workflow. Additionally, part-time drivers need to maintain the same safety and compliance standards as full-time drivers, so staying organized and proactive with paperwork and vehicle inspections is essential for success in the role.

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced, insured 1099 HVAC technicians with EPA certification to handle residential service calls and HVAC installation projects. This is a direct-work opportunity, not a job board. We provide steady assignments through our portfolio partners with no fees, no lead chasing, and no upselling. You complete the work and get paid directly.

This opportunity is a great fit for part-time technicians and independent HVAC contractors who want to supplement their existing workload with flexible residential maintenance and installation projects.

About Us

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is an established home repair and maintenance company with more than 13 years of industry experience. We serve a diverse client base from our primary market near Atlanta, GA.

We operate throughout AL, AZ, GA, FL, NC, OK, SC, TN, and TX, providing services that include plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, tree work, roofing, drywall repair, interior and exterior painting, flooring, remediation, make-readies, appliances, and more.

Our focus is on dependable, high-quality service, clear communication, and long-term relationships with our customers and partners.

Our technicians generally handle residential work within their local service areas. Our maintenance division works primarily with property management partners, our direct-to-client division serves homeowners, and our projects department manages larger contracts and re-pipe initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits, and similar equipment
  • Complete first-trip service calls within assigned Not-to-Exceed (NTE) budgets, typically averaging $150-$350
  • Provide estimates for repairs requiring additional visits or more extensive work
  • Perform complete HVAC system replacements and installations, with labor compensation ranging from $1,200-$1,800 depending on project scope and location
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and provide job updates through the mobile service portal
  • Superior Contracting & Maintenance purchases required job materials
  • Must be located within the United States
Requirements
  • Current EPA Certification, required for compliance with refrigerant regulations
  • Active General Liability Insurance (COI required)
  • Own truck, van, or SUV and necessary HVAC tools
  • Comfortable using mobile job portals and communicating clearly with the team
  • Completion of a brief onboarding call and required training before receiving work assignments
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Disqualifiers
  • No current insurance coverage
  • No required EPA certification
  • Failure or unwillingness to complete the onboarding or training process
  • Poor communication or failure to complete assigned work
Benefits
  • Diagnostic Trip Pay: $65-$85 per service call, depending on trade and job complexity
  • Installation Labor Pay: $1,200-$1,800 per full system installation, based on location and project scope
  • Fast Pay: Direct deposit after job completion and verification, with no job board fees or subscription costs

If you are an experienced HVAC professional committed to quality service and interested in joining a growing contractor network, we'd like to hear from you.
