Part-Time Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL)

$15.00 per hour


Work Hours for Part-time Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL):

  • Monday - Wednesday
  • 7am - 3pm in the summer
  • 9am - 4pm during cooler months
  • Occasional Thursday & Friday for a big project

Responsibilities for Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL):

  • Drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Perform vehicle safety inspections prior to operation.
  • Check and top off all vehicle fluids (excluding fuel) and report fluids used for documentation purposes.
  • Properly fuel vehicles, based on trip requirements.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and safely stop operation if overheating or mechanical issues occur.
  • Help prevent vehicle breakdowns and stranded vehicle situations.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly secured, labeled, and prepared for transport.
  • Follow assigned transportation routes and remain with the designated transport group.
  • Deliver vehicles to the correct dealership locations and park them as directed.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked in their designated sale-day locations.
  • Use of a jump box to address low voltage batteries.
Requirements:

Requirements for Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous driving or courier experience preferred.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings.
  • Able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
