A Part Time Auto Auction Driver is responsible for transporting vehicles within an auto auction facility. Their main duties often include driving cars to and from staging areas, parking lots, and auction lanes, as well as occasionally assisting with vehicle inspections or inventory. This position is typically part-time and requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to operate a variety of vehicles. It's a great job for individuals seeking flexible hours and who enjoy working around cars.

What does a typical shift look like for a part time auto auction driver, and how does the role interact with other team members?

A typical shift for a part time auto auction driver involves transporting vehicles to and from auction lanes, parking lots, and designated staging areas. Drivers are often responsible for inspecting vehicles for damage before and after moving them, and may need to follow specific routes or schedules set by auction supervisors. Collaboration with other drivers, lot attendants, and auction coordinators is common to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles during auction days. Communication and teamwork are important, as the pace can become fast and coordination is key to keeping the auction running efficiently.
