Position Summary
The AV Technician plays a key role in supporting and implementing AV technology, systems, and processes that support the production environment at Hillard Center. In this role, you will provide support for all presentation video, audio, digital media assets, IPTV, and LED display technology during event and non-event times.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$16.00

This position will remain open until August 28, 2026.
About the Venue
Hilliard Center is an entertainment complex owned by the city of Corpus Christi and managed by OVG. The complex is in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas, and consists of an arena, auditorium, and convention center. The facility hosts numerous conventions, trade shows, exhibitions, live performances, and sporting events. Located directly on the beautiful Corpus Christi Bay downtown, the Hilliard Center is flexible for any group, offering complimentary Wi-Fi and premium food and beverage options.
Responsibilities
  • Provide audio/visual operational support for all Hiliiard Center events.
  • Gather, deliver, stage, set, operate, strike, and return all A/V equipment needed to successfully execute events occurring on Hiliiard Center grounds.
  • Effectively monitor and troubleshoot all audio and video signal flow from source to destination within Hilliard Center grounds.
  • Provide repairs and preventative maintenance on AV equipment as needed with assistance where appropriate.
  • Maintain, clean, and organize all event, service, and storage areas.
  • Work side by side with third-party AV vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred,
  • 1-2+ years of related AV experience required.
