Job description

Part-time (Sunday/Monday/Tuesday 9am to 5:30pm) day shift position assisting the Activities Department. Job duties include activities; providing stimulating and varied events, and on-site activities for residents in a memory care cottage setting. Strong organizational skills required, as well as the ability to re-prioritize tasks to accommodate the fluctuating needs of the residents and community. Must be able to represent the community in a positive and professional manner, and able to establish effective relationships with staff, residents, and family members. As a support to resident care this role may need to provide coverage for breaks and lunches of direct care staff and have some cross training in order to keep residents safe.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, two years experience working in senior living environment or social/group activities. Must be able to work weekends and pass a criminal background check.

Consideration for fun and outgoing individuals with experience engaging others of all ages in activities. Experience with in home or one-on-one caregiving, after school programs, direct care staff, teachers and instructors would be considered. Musicians, artists and clowns strongly encouraged to apply.
