Short DescriptionThe Advanced Analytics Developer will lead the creation of innovative analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders. He/she will utilize the Tableau visualization platform in addition to other commercial and open-source software products to create and maintain reusable analytical solutions including reports and dashboards. He /she will partner with business leaders to understand drivers of success and leverage available data sources to design, develop and deploy analytical solutions with practical business value.  Experience Required

3-5 years experience required 

Education Requirements
  • Masters required
  • BA/BS, MA/MS and/or PhD required in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or closely related quantitative field or equivalent experience
Special Requirements
  • Master's degrees in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Analytics) with focus on Business Analytics
  • 5+ of experience in business analytics and performing quantitative and qualitative analytics, preferably in a hospital or healthcare delivery setting
  • 3+ years of experience working with Tableau advanced features. Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in data visualization
  • Experience accessing, manipulating and interpreting large data sets to inform decision-making, including data transformation at scale, leveraging tools such as Tableau Prep or Python
  • Experience querying data using SQL, and manipulating /analyzing data using complex SQL queries as well as other computing languages such as R or Python
  • Previous experience working with healthcare (operational /financial) data and healthcare EMR systems (especially Epic, Clarity, Caboodle) 
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to work with business leaders and technical teams to gather business needs and turn them into technical requirements
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail. 
  • Ability to effectively describe technical problems and solutions to a non-technical audience
