Job description

Employee will be assigned to the Office of the Director, VA Medical Center, Madison, WI, with primary responsibility for monitoring and coordinating facility activities to optimize workload capture, resource utilization, information management, revenue enhancement, and implement business intelligence solutions to improve hospital efficiency.Qualifications:SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must also have at least one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped them with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: conducting studies, analyzing findings, and making recommendations regarding the effectiveness of clinical program operations; serving as a consultant to leadership on business intelligence solutions; collecting and analyzing data; applying new technologies to operational processes; developing and conducting training programs; serving as a technical advisor to facility leadership; and preparing reports.
Physical Requirements: Work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.
