At ALLCPR, our goal is to raise the standard of community health and safety across the country.

We provide CPR and life-saving training at more than 200 locations throughout the United States, with a primary focus on:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support courses

  • CPR certification programs

  • Related life-saving training programs

Position Overview

We are seeking a CPR Instructor to deliver American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) CPR/BLS training to individuals and groups.

This role includes:

  • Preparing lesson plans

  • Demonstrating proper CPR/AED techniques

  • Evaluating student performance

  • Ensuring students meet certification requirements

Job Type and Work Location
  • Job Type: Part-time, Contract

  • Work Location: In person

  • Work is performed at scheduled training locations

Schedule
  • Classes are primarily scheduled on weekends

  • Weekday availability is preferred

  • Final schedules may vary based on class demand, instructor availability, and training location needs

Instructor Certification

Applicants must hold a valid CPR/BLS Instructor Certification.

Preferred certifications include:

  • American Heart Association BLS Instructor Certification

  • American Red Cross CPR/BLS Instructor Certification

American Heart Association (AHA) certification is preferred. American Red Cross (ARC) Instructor Certification is also accepted.

Teaching Equipment

Instructors are expected to provide and manage their own CPR training equipment.

Required equipment:

  • Minimum of three manikin sets

Primary Duties

The CPR Instructor will be responsible for:

  • Delivering AHA/ARC CPR and BLS training sessions

  • Demonstrating proper CPR and AED techniques

  • Evaluating student performance

  • Providing clear feedback throughout the course

  • Ensuring students meet certification requirements

  • Maintaining and managing training equipment

  • Following applicable AHA/ARC course standards

  • Providing a professional learning experience for students and clients

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • Valid CPR Instructor Certification

  • Strong knowledge of CPR and AED procedures

  • Clear communication and teaching skills

  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Reliable time-management skills

  • Ability to work with students of different experience levels

Physical Requirements

The instructor must be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods

  • Lift and transport training equipment up to 50 pounds

  • Physically demonstrate proper CPR and AED skills during class

Compensation

Pay ranges from 25.00 to 45.00 per teaching hour.
