Position Summary

The Surf Liaison is the primary point of contact for guests looking to maximize their surf experience at the Palm Springs Surf Club. This role requires strong customer service skills, a deep understanding of surf culture, and the ability to assist guests with scheduling, equipment rentals, and overall experience enhancement. The ideal candidate is passionate about surfing, highly personable, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed.
  • Provide expert advice on wave settings, surf sessions, and equipment selection based on guest skill level.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating surf sessions, lessons, and private bookings.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the wave pool operations and communicate safety guidelines to guests.
  • Work closely with surf instructors, lifeguards, and hospitality staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assist with equipment check-ins, rentals, and returns, ensuring proper maintenance and organization.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Palm Springs Surf Club, promoting the brand and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
  • Address guest concerns and provide solutions to enhance their visit.
  • Bridge the gap between check-in and surf operations while highlighting the amenities on property
