What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting visitor and/or contractor entry and exit activity.
  • Monitor entry points, gates, and/or assigned access areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support orderly traffic flow, and report suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and other assigned spaces as permitted by site procedures.
  • Support security-related operations in a food and beverage environment by observing employee and visitor movement, assisting with checkpoint procedures, and reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
