As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support established entry and exit procedures for the facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, access points, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
