ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLE

Tradewind Aviation is seeking a seasonal part-time Customer Service Agent to join our team in San Juan, PR. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering personalized, memorable experiences and takes pride in providing the highest level of service to our clients.

As a key member of our Passenger Service team, you will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment that values collaboration, respect, accountability, growth, and shared success.


Schedule: Candidate must be available to work on a fixed and/or rotating schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a seasonal temporary role with potential for growth


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Warmly welcome guests to create a positive arrival and departure experience.
  • Listen to and resolve guest problems and complaints promptly.
  • Ensure safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
  • Guide and assist clients through the U.S. Customs and Border Protection international clearance process.
  • Deliver seamless VIP service experiences.
  • Escort passengers during the boarding process and assist with screening procedures.
  • Assist unaccompanied minors and passengers with special needs.
  • Support and maintain VIP Lounge facilities to company standards.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, agents, flight crews, and vendors.
  • Assist with station upkeep and cleaning of work areas.
  • Follow company standard operating procedures and the Ground Operations Manual.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Strong work ethics, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays).
  • Ability to pass a background investigation, including FBI fingerprinting and criminal history.
  • U.S. citizen or authorized to live and work in the U.S. or its territories.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Self-motivated and a strong team player.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
  • Frequently lift baggage/items up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift baggage/items between 50-70 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Frequent walking between airport points.
