Full job description
The Learning Experience Fitchburg is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic After School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by providing them with a fun and safe environment to learn and grow. You will be working closely with our Program Director to deliver a high-quality experience for our students.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and interact with children in a positive and engaging manner
  • Implement TLE's curriculum and activities in collaboration with the Director
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be available to work afternoons during the school year and a combination of full day shifts on no school days
  • CPR and First Aid + additional required certification (or willingness to obtain)

Hours:
  • School Year: 12 PM - 5:45 PM
  • Scheduled No School Days: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
