After-School Club Leader
Position Type: Part-Time
Worksite Location: Cornerstone Schools • Detroit, MI
Salary: $50 per day • $250 per week
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:15 p.m. arrival and 5:45 departure; potential to explore 3-4 days per week, depending on your availability
Experience: Entry level
Expected Start Date: January 5, 2026
About the Dawn to Dusk Program. Cornerstone's Dawn to Dusk (D2D) Program provides high-quality after-school enrichment and academic support for students across five campuses.
Position Overview. We have two different types of after-school activities that we offer our K-8 students: (a) specific clubs like Art, Drama, Dance, Music, STEM, Coding, Robotics, Sports & Fitness, Cooking, Entrepreneurship, Debate, or Language clubs; else (b) homework help clubs, that offer a safe, quiet, structured place for students to work on their reading and math.
Traits and skills. This position is for an individual seeking to begin a career in education, youth development, social work, STEM, arts, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with roots in Detroit and graduated from Cass, Renaissance, or King high schools and can act as role models for our students.
