JOB DESCRIPTION.
Second Baptist School is currently accepting applications for PART-TIME AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATOR(S).
  • The program runs 2 - 6 p.m. daily, and the work schedule averages 20+ hours per week.
  • This is an hourly position.

CANDIDATE SUMMARY.
We seek the following in the ideal candidate:
  • A high school diploma/GED or higher.
  • The ability to demonstrate a strong track record of excellent work habits.
  • A heart to provide exceptional customer service to all members of the community.
  • A desire and willingness to be innovative, creative and collaborative with coworkers and peers.
  • A strong desire to serve and teach in a Christian school.
  • Commitment to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED.
To perform this job successfully, candidates must be willing and able to:
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Assist with planning, preparing and executing daily activities.
  • Assist students with homework assignments.
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers and parents as appropriate or needed.
  • Supervise and manage student behavior to maintain a safe and fun environment.

A college or advanced degree, previous teaching experience and/or prior knowledge of Second Baptist Church and School are all considered a plus.
