Coopers Uptown is hiring Seasonal Part-time Inventory Associate for the upcoming holiday season! 

Inventory Associates will typically work 15-20 hours per week, with a focus on weekend availability.  

What you'll do:

  • Inventory Management- Receive, unpack, and sort incoming shipments.  Verify incoming shipments against manifests to ensure accuracy.  Checking product for flaws and documenting damages.
  • Stock Organization- Maintain an organized stockroom by optimizing layouts for efficient product storage and retrieval.  Ensure that items are correctly labeled and stored in accessible locations.
  • Restocking- Restock shelves and displays in retail areas, ensuring that older stock is rotated to the front to minimize waste.
  • Customer Service- Assist with customer inquiries related to stock availability.  Ability to use POS.  Willingness to adjust to salesfloor needs.  Basic product knowledge.

Inventory Associate Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math, data entry, and computer skills 
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred

  • Ability to move 25 pounds 
  • Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store

  • Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals
