Sr. Training Administrator - Tucson, Arizona (Part-Time/On-call)

Job Summary:

The Part-Time / On-Call Sr. Training Administrator supports meeting and learning events both onsite and virtually for Raytheon. This position supports all logistical aspects of the learning and meeting events that VPS supports virtually and in the Tucson Learning Center.

This position is on site at the Raytheon Learning Center in Tucson, AZ. The position reports to the Sr Manager for the RTX PMO.

Major Job Duties:

Learning Administration & Learning Management System (LMS) tasks – 30%

  • Configure Course Offerings in the LMS
  • Configure and prepare Group Outlook Account email notifications and Calendar invites
  • Respond to general requests
  • Prepare and review training reports
  • Troubleshoot access and learning plan issues, follow-up with students as needed
  • Prepare billing reports as needed
  • Coordinate all other logistics for both onsite and virtual events
    • Order Catering
    • Order and/or prepare class materials (rosters, handouts etc.)
    • Shipping of materials as needed
    • Classroom bookings (outside the learning center)
  • Update SharePoint folders as requested with program detail updates, completed rosters, billing files etc.

Virtual Class Production – 30%

  • Support virtual class delivery on Zoom
    • Share presentations
    • Manage attendance
    • Handle any technical issues
    • Support in class interactions (polls, breakout rooms, surveys etc.)
    • Record classes as requested
    • Follow all security/data policies and procedures

Onsite Learning Center Support – 50%

  • Setup and resetting of Learning Center classrooms based on client requirements, primarily in the Learning Center but could be at other Tucson sites.
  • Support new employee orientation
  • Assist presenters with basic Audio and visual connection/troubleshooting
  • Ensure that rooms are maintained and stocked with standard supplies
  • Input Visitor/Non-Employee Visitor requests
  • Follow all security, safety and data policies and procedures
  • General customer service for all guests in the Learning Center (visitors, students, and instructors)- via phone, email and in-person exchanges.

Experience:

  • 2-years minimum experience in a similar role managing logistics and delivery of multiple events/programs

Skills & Technology Used:

  • Learning Management System knowledge is preferred
  • Proficient using MSFT Office Applications
  • Proficient using SharePoint or other shared document management/collaboration tools
  • Must demonstrate excellent business writing and verbal communication skills. Clear, concise and well-constructed/grammatically correct written communications are essential in our business.
  • Must work well independently, be a self-starter, and demonstrate personal accountability
  • Exemplary time management and project coordination skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Physical Activities:

  • Normal office environment activities. May require lifting training materials up to 25 lbs. for class setup/breakdown.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

  • Standard office equipment – Laptop, MSFT Office Suite of applications, LMS, SharePoint and other proprietary systems/tools to execute work tasks.
