Job description

Primary Job Functions:

  • Sorting mail
  • Paying bills
  • Balancing statements
  • Sending and receiving faxes and emails
  • Scanning documents
  • Monitoring office supplies
  • Answering telephone
  • Receiving and balancing Ace orders
  • Daily cash reconciliations, reports, verification of credit card transactions, and bank deposits
  • Maintaining customer accounts (filing invoices, tickets, and statements, etc.)
  • Accounts receivable payments
  • Monitor accounts receivable for past due accounts, finance charge discrepancies, etc.
  • Monitor profit and loss statements
  • Monitor returned checks
  • Handle problems with customer accounts
  • Keeping records on non-taxable sales and tax exempt cards, including scanning and filing

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting experience is a plus
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
  • Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail, accuracy is key
