Location: Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
Position Type: Part-Time
Shift: 9:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Huntleigh USA is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Passenger Service Attendants (Wheelchair Agents) at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). Position Summary

As a Passenger Service Attendant (Wheelchair Agent), you will provide safe, courteous, and professional wheelchair assistance to airline passengers who require mobility support throughout the airport. You will play an essential role in ensuring passengers receive outstanding service while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely transport passengers to and from airport gates, ticket counters, baggage claim, and other designated locations.

  • Provide exceptional customer service while assisting passengers with mobility needs.

  • Offer directions, answer passenger questions, and provide general airport information.

  • Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and airline gate agents.

  • Comply with all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security procedures and screening requirements.

  • Complete wheelchair service logs and required documentation.

  • Report accidents, incidents, or unusual situations promptly.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent may be required for applicants over 18 years of age (depending on location).

  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

  • Reliable telephone number for communication.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Ability to pass all required pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings (DOT or Non-DOT, as applicable) and participate in random testing.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, squat, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or support up to 75 pounds.

Training

Successful candidates must complete all required Huntleigh USA and airline-specific training before beginning work.

Professional Appearance Standards
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.

  • Comply with all company uniform requirements.

  • No facial piercings.

  • No visible tattoos below the wrists or above the neck.
