Campus Worship Leader
Position Type: Part-Time
Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Schedule: Must be available Sundays from 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Remaining hours are flexible and will be scheduled according to the needs of the organization.
This position will lead services at either our East Mountain or Santa Fe campuses.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Campus Worship Leader to guide and lead worship services on our campus. This role involves planning, leading, and coordinating dynamic worship experiences while building and mentoring a team of musicians and volunteers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Worship Planning & Coordination
• Create weekly song lists and setlists for worship services
• Manage personnel scheduling for musicians, vocalists, and technical team members using Planning Center
• Oversee the flow and production elements of campus worship services
• Technical Skills
• Operate and manage worship elements using Ableton Live
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize the Ableton system for live worship
• Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and direct the worship team with vision and energy
• Mentor and develop volunteer musicians and servants (team members)
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and spiritually focused team environment
• Work well with others and demonstrate flexibility in response to changing needs
Qualifications
• Strong musical and worship leading ability (vocal and/or instrumental)
• Experience using Planning Center for scheduling and song planning
• Willingness and ability to learn Ableton Live for worship production
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams
• Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for serving the church community. Heart to grow and interact with the local campus community.
