We deliver evidence-based, patient-centered wound management with a commitment to clinical excellence and measurable outcomes. Our team works closely together to advance healing, reduce complications, and improve quality of life for every patient we treat.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in advanced wound care to join our clinic-based team. This is a part-time role (3 days per week) with strong potential to grow into a full-time position as our practice expands.

If you are passionate about wound healing and want to practice in a focused, collaborative, outcomes-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and lower-extremity wounds
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including advanced wound modalities and cellular/tissue-based products as clinically appropriate
  • Perform clinic-based procedures such as sharp and selective debridement within scope of practice
  • Document encounters accurately and completely to support quality care and compliant billing
  • Collaborate with the supervising/collaborating physician and the broader care team to coordinate patient management
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, prevention, and self-management
  • Monitor healing progress and adjust treatment plans to drive timely, effective outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant license in the State of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • National board certification (e.g., ANCC/AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
  • Demonstrated wound care experience — this is essential
  • Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wound care certification (e.g., CWS, CWCN, CWON, WCC, or equivalent)
  • Experience with advanced wound modalities and cellular/tissue-based products
  • Familiarity with Medicare wound care documentation and coverage requirements

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time, 3 days per week, with potential to transition to full-time
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
  • Clinic-based practice in Reno, NV
  • (Benefits details to be discussed with qualified candidates.)
