Caregiver (PCA/CNA) - Stone Mountain, GA
Position: Part-Time Caregiver
Location: Stone Mountain, GA
Schedule: As Needed (Based on Client Needs)
Pay: $14-$16 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver to assist a male client in Stone Mountain with mid-stage dementia. The client requires hands-on support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
The ideal candidate has experience working with dementia clients, understands redirection techniques, and provides care with dignity, respect, and calm reassurance.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support)
  • Provide supervision and safety monitoring due to cognitive decline
  • Assist with IADLs (meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands if needed)
  • Provide companionship and cognitive engagement
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Monitor and report changes in behavior or condition
  • Maintain clear communication with office staff and family

Care Level:
Moderate assistance required with hands-on personal care and supervision.
