As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Badging in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control practices at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, protect confidential and regulated spaces, and document security-related concerns.
  • Complete routine reports, logs, and shift activity documentation related to patrols, incidents, and/or emergency response activities in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
