The Role

The Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of packaged TrakSYS™ Function Blocks and Functional Solutions that accelerate MES deployments for customers and implementation partners worldwide. Operating at the intersection of product management, solution delivery, and manufacturing domain expertise, this role is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of reusable solution packages, leading a team of Application Developers, and partnering closely with the CTO and core TrakSYS™ engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for TrakSYS™ Function Blocks and Functional Solutions, with initial focus areas including Connected Worker, EBR (Electronic Batch Records, and Quality)
  • Collaborate closely with the CTO, core TrakSYS™ engineering, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure architectural and release alignment
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that translate manufacturing use cases into shippable, reusable solution packages
  • Lead and prioritize work for a small team of Application Developers, ensuring alignment to roadmap commitments
  • Engage customers, implementation partners, support teams, and internal SMEs to gather requirements and validate solution approaches
  • Drive release planning and go-to-market readiness, including documentation standards, versioning, and distribution processes
  • Establish and maintain product standards for solution scope, configurability, extensibility, and upgrade paths
  • Monitor adoption and customer/partner feedback to continuously refine backlog priorities
  • Support QA strategies and ensure acceptance criteria are met prior to release
  • Assist support and implementation teams in triaging and prioritizing escalations related to delivered solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience, plus demonstrated experience in product management for software products; technical or manufacturing domain experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a highly technical environment and partnering directly with senior technical leadership
  • 3+ years of experience owning product requirements, backlogs, and delivery for software products or solution packages
  • Proven ability to execute a product roadmap, including prioritization and release planning
  • Experience working closely with software development teams and leading cross-functional delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations and workflows, particularly in Connected Worker, EBR, and/or Quality domains

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • MES / MOM experience and exposure to manufacturing system deployments
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., GMP, electronic records, audit trails, approvals, electronic signatures)
  • Knowledge of digital quality execution processes such as deviations, CAPA, inspections, nonconformance, and SPC

  • Familiarity with software packaging, versioning, and partner enablement (templates, accelerators, reference implementations)
  • Working knowledge of .NET, SQL, and web application development concepts sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers
