Description
Position Overview: The Recreation Aide for the Village of Los Lunas is an integral team member responsible for supporting the mission of the Los Lunas Parks and Recreation department. This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of programs and facilities, as well as providing valuable support for special events and leagues. The Recreation Aide plays a vital role in enhancing community engagement and ensuring the success of recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential support for the day-to-day operations of recreation programs and facilities.
  • Assist with setting up and organizing facilities and spaces for programs, events, and activities.
  • Support the execution of special events, including setup, coordination, and logistical assistance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth program delivery and participant satisfaction.
  • Assist participants with inquiries, registration, and information related to programs and events.
  • Distribute program materials, schedules, and information to participants.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for participants, emphasizing safety and enjoyment.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of program spaces and facilities.
  • Uphold established policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and regulations of the Village of Los Lunas.
