We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our team as part-time Gymnastics Instructor. As an Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower participants through engaging and dynamic classes that promote physical fitness, skill development, and fun.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute high-quality gymnastics classes for youth participants of various ages and skill levels.
  • Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and feedback to help participants improve their technique and achieve their goals.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing proper spotting techniques, equipment usage, and facility rules.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where participants feel supported, motivated, and encouraged to challenge themselves.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and colleagues to provide updates, feedback, and support as needed.
  • Assist with program promotion, recruitment, and retention efforts to drive participation and engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience coaching or teaching gymnastics, American Ninja Warrior, parkour, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of gymnastics, American Ninja Warrior, or parkour techniques, terminology, and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with participants of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and relevant coaching certifications (preferred but not required - we will provide).
  • Passion for health, wellness, and community engagement, with a commitment to the YMCA's mission and values.

Schedule:
Part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling options. Evening and weekend availability may be required based on program needs.
