Founded in 1984 as American Academy of Gymnastics, American Kids Sports Center (AKSC) has grown into one of California's most unique and successful kids sports center. AKSC has established an organization that sees its purpose as helping children to learn strong VALUES with which they will set worthy GOALS and for which we must train them in the SKILLS needed to achieve those goals. Sport training is the tool we use to achieve that purpose.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive environment for every student.
  • Teach Ninja Zone skills while encouraging confidence, focus, and progress.
  • During your shifts, you will report to and collaborate closely with the NinjaZone Director, supporting the department and the gym as needed.
  • Bring teamwork, dependability, and a can-do attitude every day.
  • Complete all required training and remain committed to ongoing learning.
  • Follow our curriculum while adapting to each student's individual needs and comfort levels.
  • Smile, have fun, and help make Ninja Zone the highlight of every student's week!

Qualifications
  • Able to safely lift at least 50 pounds to spot students and move equipment.
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, staff, and the Ninja Zone Director/Manager.
  • Great attitude, willingness to be coached, and desire for continuous personal growth.
  • Ability to stay focused, organized, and energetic in a fast-paced environment.
  • Punctuality is essential-arrive early and prepared for your classes.
  • Dependable and committed to reporting for scheduled shifts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and families.
  • Model and encourage strong values such as hard work, determination, goal-setting, and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with staff to solve problems, share ideas, and enhance the Ninja Zone department and AKSC as a whole.
  • Organized and reliable in tracking skill progress and communicating updates to parents.
  • Teach Ninja skills in a way that supports student growth, success, and goal achievement.
  • Complete all mandatory training and stay committed to continual development for the benefit of the program
  • Ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, including afternoons and weekends.
