Job Description

Aramark is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Temporary Heat Relief Attendant to support our summer Heat Relief program. This role is responsible for ensuring beverage equipment is stocked, clean, and operating properly while delivering a high level of service to our customers.

This is a seasonal, part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week, including weekends), with shifts available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts from May through September.
This is a seasonal role and is not eligible for benefits.

The Heat Relief Attendant plays a key role in maintaining product availability, supporting customer needs, and ensuring a positive on-site experience.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Stocking & Inventory

  • Unload and stock daily inventory at customer sites, ensuring product freshness through date code monitoring
  • Maintain appropriate product levels to prevent outages
  • Assist with ordering and replenishment of beverages and related products

Equipment & Service

  • Clean and maintain beverage equipment during each visit
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to equipment as needed
  • Report service needs and call in maintenance requests when necessary

Customer Interaction

  • Communicate with customers and client employees regarding product availability and new offerings
  • Distribute promotional materials and merchandise product displays
  • Build and maintain positive relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction

Operations & Communication

  • Use a laptop or handheld device to manage inventory, orders, and invoicing
  • Communicate regularly with the Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding service updates, issues, or opportunities
  • Report customer concerns, service gaps, or competitor activity

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a role requiring interpersonal skills preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing demands
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
  • Willingness to travel to nearby locations on short notice

This role may involve physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
