Uniform Attendant (Part-Time)

Trail Drive Management Corp. Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX
Dickies Arena is a 14,000-seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena will host concerts, sporting events, and is the new home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time Uniform Attendant. This position is responsible for ensuring the uniform room is clean, organized, and contains the necessary tools to operate effectively and efficiently.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Help inventory all items being received and picked up by vendors
  • Help inventory all items being received and picked up by employees
  • Maintain sign-in and out sheets for Uniforms, Communication devices, and Bar kits
  • Direct any non-F&B related inquiries to the correct entity and/or personnel.
  • Wash/Iron and restock uniforms
  • Be visible and ready to assist guests as needed
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized coat room/ working environment
  • Help ensure safe and sanitary practices throughout the operations
  • Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as assist guests
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Previous experience as a coat check or restaurant host preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization
  • Works well with others; establishes and maintains effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred, English reading, writing, comprehension, and basic math skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Working Conditions:

  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting
  • Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings
  • Employees may be exposed to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift
