Job description

Math Instructor Wanted
Mathnasium is a grade 2-12 math only-learning center that fosters a fun, safe environment for children to build confidence in math and life. Our Vero Beach location is offering part-time jobs with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing training to polish up your math skills. If you love kids, enjoy math, and want to motivate students to succeed, apply today!
Required Qualifications:• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Energetic and confident personality
• Proficient math knowledge through Algebra I and Geometry
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
• Enjoys working with children
• Easily pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:• Ability to teach and comprehend higher level high school math courses (Algebra II, Calculus, Trig, etc...)
• Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students/children
Our normal hours of in-center operation will be Sunday -Thursday, mid-afternoon through early evening hours, but may vary. Schedules will be flexible with approximately 8-16 hours of work per week. Training for our initial hires will commence immediately.

Compensation: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
