Job description

Overview
ROLE AT A GLANCE:
Oversee the efficient flow of mail, packages, and shipping services across LA Live Mailroom and related locations. Responsibilities include sorting and distributing incoming mail, processing outgoing shipments, tracking parcel deliveries, supporting print and fulfillment operations, and ensuring timely delivery of critical business communications. Provides operational support for special projects, executive service requests, and Shipping functions while promoting cost savings, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional customer service.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
โ€ข Process daily mail drops which include the following: sorting, routing and distributing of all incoming and outgoing mail pieces to all departments (HP3, LA Live, LADC, and HIM).
โ€ข May be required to support on alternate work locations between Torrance (HP3) and Los Angeles (LA Live). This could be short term, long term, and/or permanent.
โ€ข Responsible for logging package details for all parcel deliveries into tracking system and delivery of packages to destination.
โ€ข Responsible for processing all outgoing mail pieces using a Pitney Bowes mail processor.
โ€ข Manage all aspects of domestic FedEx shipping operations, including shipment preparation, tracking, documentation, and processing. Serve as a key resource for expedited and mission-critical shipping requests, ensuring timely execution of same-day and after-hours deliveries when business needs arise. May be required to personally deliver or make delivery arrangements for critical shipments to a FedEx hub station or the FedEx final acceptance location at LAX to safeguard service commitments and ensure adherence to scheduled shipping deadlines. Ensure that all hand deliveries are expeditiously and properly delivered.
โ€ข Responsible for processing various print, mail fulfillment jobs and copier services using the Ricoh copier and the Pitney Bowes Digital Inserter.
โ€ข Process and maintain personal postage/shipping reports.
โ€ข Arrange for special services as requested by "C" level executives.
โ€ข Operate company vehicles as necessary to support any delivery requests or daily mail pickup/drop off routes.
โ€ข Ensure work area is well maintained and organized.
