Job description

The Clyde Brown Elementary School is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to cover a leave of absence from August 31, 2026 to October 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in supporting students' academic, social/emotional and behavioral needs. In this role, the individual develops relationships and works as part of a team to support students with disabilities in and out of the general education classroom. This includes implementing behavior support plans, assisting in implementing curriculum modifications and accommodations for student success and collecting data to monitor student progress. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Two years of experience working with students with disabilities is preferred. 2. Registered Behavior Technician certification is required. 3. Willingness to be trained in crisis prevention and intervention. 4. First aid and CPR training are preferred. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the current contract between the Millis School Committee and the Millis Teachers Association. SALARY: Per Unit C, Paraprofessionals Collective Bargaining Agreement.
