Position Summary

The Paramedic is responsible for providing advanced pre-hospital life support, patient assessment, and emergency medical care in accordance with state protocols and organizational policies. This role requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide high-quality advanced life support (ALS) care.
  • Assess, treat, and stabilize patients in a variety of urgent and emergent situations.
  • Operate ambulance vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with Minnesota state regulations.
  • Document patient care reports accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement, and hospital staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain medical equipment, vehicle readiness, and overall operational preparedness.
  • Participate in ongoing training, quality assurance, and professional development activities.
Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota Paramedic License (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
