Overview:

The Hyperbaric Tech administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. This role is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s), related support systems, and safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patient.

Education:

•    High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

1 year of experience preferred in one of the following fields

  • Corpsman Medical Services Specialist (Military)
  • EMT-Basic (Emergency Medical Technician) 
  • Paramedic
  • LPN (Licensed practical Nurse)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
  • Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)

Licensure/Certification(s):

  • Within 60 days you will be required to have a Hyperbaric Chamber Operator certificate.

This position will float within department when needed.
