What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Paralegal, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Paralegal, you need strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills, typically supported by a paralegal certificate or associate’s degree in paralegal studies. Familiarity with legal research databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis, case management software, and document management systems is commonly required.
