Reef is a Utah-based vertically integrated investment and development firm founded in 2005. Reef's team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.

Paragon Land Pros is a successful commercial land services firm specializing in both private and public land services projects. Paragon has partnered with Reef as we currently work on a wide variety of projects, including Black Desert Resort in Ivins, UT and Marcella, near Park City, UT.

Position Summary:

Our team at Paragon Land Pros is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Irrigation Specialist to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential, commercial, or agricultural properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of irrigation equipment and water conservation practices, and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently to ensure healthy landscape growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and install irrigation systems according to site specifications and water requirements.
  • Inspect irrigation systems regularly to identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or damaged components.
  • Repair or replace valves, sprinklers, timers, piping, and other system components as needed.
  • Program and calibrate irrigation controllers for efficient water usage.
  • Monitor water pressure and flow rates, making adjustments necessary.
  • Perform seasonal maintenance, including winterizing and reactivating systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system configurations.
  • Coordinate with landscapers, property managers, or clients to schedule work and discuss system performance.
  • Stay up to date with local water use regulations and sustainable irrigation practices

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or certification in irrigation systems preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in irrigation installation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of local codes and regulations related to irrigation and water conservation.
  • Familiarity with irrigation controllers, valves, pumps, drip systems, and weather sensors.
