Treatment Coordinator
Buckhead, GA | Full-time | This is an in-office position.
We are an elite oral surgery practice that is committed to exceptional care for our patients and first-class service to our referring doctors. We are growing and seeking a confident, compassionate, and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to play a key role in connecting our clinical expertise with an outstanding patient experience. In this position, you'll serve as a trusted resource for patients-helping them understand their treatment plans, guiding them through financial options, and ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism and care. If you enjoy building relationships, thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a high-performing team, we would love for you to join us as we continue to serve our community with all of their oral surgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Updates and maintains patient insurance information.
  • Maintains doctor schedule to ensure efficient use of the doctor's time.
  • Partners with clinical team to ensure excellent patient experience.
  • Adheres to deadlines and prioritize work against the patient schedule.
  • Collects payments from patients in an effective and professional manner.
  • Understands doctor treatment recommendations and develops treatment plans from diagnosis.
  • Effectively communicates treatment options and associated costs to the patient.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experience required.
  • Medical or dental experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of dental terminology.
  • Friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence.
  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
