Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Finish paperwork for all truck loads shipping out
    • Send out export paperwork to the proper customs agency (Panalpina or UTI)
    • Send out proper paperwork for Nordic loads
    • Send emails for all loads that are finished and loaded on Tip Top trailers as they are loaded.
  • Send out shipping updates every 2 hours
  • File all in-bound paperwork
  • Keep track of all information for each truck load and input that information into the proper spread-sheets
  • Keep track of inventory to make sure that product is being shipped out FIFO (first in, first out)
  • Keep a constant line of communication between sales / truck coordinators if there are any issues with trucks being late or short
  • Answer the phone whenever it rings in a very professional manner (i.e. Marietta shipping this is (insert name here))
  • Although this is a very stressful, demanding position, it is very important to keep a positive, upbeat attitude throughout the day. You have to be able and willing to work as a part of a team.
