Job Description:
The Payroll Department is seeking a qualified student worker to assist the Payroll Department with processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This includes verifying information, time cards, additional hours, contracts and deductions.
  • Entering data into the computer.
  • After payroll has run, checking to make sure everything has paid properly and all deductions have been taken out correctly.
  • Fold and stuff checks and direct deposits with folding machine.
  • Group departmental, US Mail and checks in Payroll together.
  • Pass out payroll checks.
  • Answer paycheck-related questions.
  • Sort and file time cards and other papers as needed.
  • Answer phones and open mail.
  • Retrieve necessary documents for audits.
  • Process billing which includes paying bills online and preparing check requests.
  • Sorting and filing as needed.
  • Assist with all other duties as needed.

Preferred Schedule: Afternoons; Monday - Thursday
Wage Range: $16.90-17.30
