As a sales representative, you typically work in a specific territory. You manage existing accounts in your region and find new clients to whom you can sell your employer’s products. To achieve your sales goals, you may follow up on leads, make cold calls, or contact existing customers to tell them about new products. You prepare sales presentations for trade shows and to deliver to large corporate clients. This is almost always a business-to-business sales job.
